Сессия барысында Елбасы, ҚХА Төрағасы Н.Назарбаев отыз жылдағы елеулі жетістерге тоқталып, Ассамблеяның алдына қоғамдық келісім мен ұлттық бірлікті одан әрі нығайту бойынша нақты міндеттер қойды.
– Қазақстан Республикасының Тұңғыш Президенті – Елбасы туралы» Конституциялық заңға, Ассамблея туралы заңға сәйкес маған Қазақстан халқы Ассамблеясының төрағасы лауазымын өмір бойы атқару құқығы берілген. Жалпы, мен сіздермен барлық уақытта бірге боламын әрі одан бас та тартпаймын. Дегенмен, Ассамблеяны басқаруға қатысты бірқатар құзірет еліміздің Президентіне жүктелген. Тіпті, бұл да маңызды емес.
