Шымкент қаласында маусым-желтоқсан айларында 50 спорттық іс-шара өтеді. Оған 10 мыңнан астам шымкенттік спортшы қатысады деп жоспарлануда. Бұл туралы қалалық дене шынықтыру және спорт басқармасы хабарлады.

11-і – «Шымкент қаласының чемпионаттары». Спорттың жеті түрінен (садақ ату, гимнастика, жеңіл атлетика, баскетбол, волейбол, дзюдо, қазақ күресі) өтетін жарысқа 2 мыңнан аса бала қатысады деп жоспарланып отыр.

16-ы – «Қазақстан Республикасының чемпионаттары». Ол спорттың 11 түрінен (футбол, волейбол, көркем гимнастика, баскетбол, садақ ату, жүзу, қол добы, қазақ күресі, конькимен мәнерлеп сырғанау, каратэ, шорт-трек) өтеді. Аталған іс-шараға 3 600 бала қатысады деп күтілуде.

23-і – «Халықаралық, республикалық деңгейдегі жарыстар». Бұл спорттың 15 түрі бойынша (футбол, көркем гимнастика, баскетбол, садақ ату, жүзу, қазақ күресі, еркін күрес, грек-рим күресі, бокс, таэквондо, жеңіл атлетика, үстел теннисі, стенд ату, оқ ату, шорт-трек) ұйымдастырылады. Жарысқа 5 мыңға жуық бала қатыспақ.

Айта кетейік, шымкенттік спортшылар жыл басынан бері спорт түрлері бойынша Қазақстан Республикасының чемпионаттары мен біріншіліктеріне қатысып 312 алтын, 271 күміс, 310 қола медаль жеңіп алған екен. Тарқата айтсақ, Азия чемпионаттарында 31 алтын, 9 күміс және 16 қола медальдарға қол жеткізсе, осы уақыт арасында Әлем чемпионаттарында 1 алтын, 1 күміс және 2 қола медальге ие болды.
