Шымкент қаласы табиғи ресурстар және табиғат пайдалануды реттеу басқармасы «Жасыл белдеу» КММ-нің 2020 жылы материалдық-техникалық базасы жаңартылып, орман қорын молайтуда бірқатар жұмыстар жүзеге асырылды. 

Мекеме қала аумағындағы 976 га жасыл аймақты және Тассай шағынауданындағы 11 га «Шымсая» шатқалындағы жасыл желекті қорғау, күзету және күтіп баптау жұмыстарын атқарып келеді. 

 976 га жер учаскесінде 2020 жылы жер жырту (70 га), аумақтағы ағаштардың бұталарын қырқу (60 га), кесілген шырпыларды сыртқа шығару (60 га), көшет арасын қопсыту (25 га), арам шөптерді шабу жұмыстары (25 га) жүргізілді. Алма бауды қоршау жұмыстары да орындалды. Ағаш көшеттерін отырғызуға 10 га жер дайындалып, 2 га жерге 1000 дана көшет отырғызылды.
