Екі күнге жоспарланған конференцияның ашылу салтанатында Маңғыстау облысы өнерпаздарының қатысуымен ұлттық дәстүрлер насихатталып, қазақтың халық жазушысы Ә.Кекілбаевтың тағылымды сөзі жазылған ескеркіш тақта ашылды. Сонымен қатар «С. Қондыбай шығармашылығы – өнер әлемінде» тақырыбында кітап және сурет көрмесі, «Қоңыр қаз» анимациялық фильмі, «С.Қондыбай – рух жауынгері» деректі фильмі, Мифтік костюмдер шеруі көрсетілді.

Одан өзге Жапониядан WAKO университетінің профессоры Хероки Сакай, Қырғыстан ғалымы Ұ.Алимов, Якутия ғалымы Е.Романова онлайн құттықтау жолдады.
Конференцияның пленарлық мәжілісінде ғалым А.Тойшанұлы, ф.ғ.д., профессор А.Ісмақова, док.,доцент Сайфуллах Йылдырым, ф.ғ.к., доцент Оңайгүл Тұржан ғалым Серікбол Қондыбай шығармашылығы жөнінде арнайы баяндама жасап, зерттеулерінің маңыздылығына тоқталды.
Конференция жұмысы 13 секция бойынша жүргізіледі. Оның алғашқы екі отырысы бүгін, ертең 11 секция жұмысы офлайн және онлайн сипатта жалғасады. Конференцияға Қазақстандық ғалымдардан өзге Түркия, Өзбекстан, Қырғызстан, Әзербайжан, Ресей, Жапония, Якутиядан ғалымдар қатысып, 70-тен астам мақала қабылданды.
