Шымкент қаласындағы маңызды нысандардың бірі – Республика даңғылы.

Бұл — көлік ағынының қарқындылығына және қаланы өзге елді-мекендермен біріктіретіндігіне байланысты қаламыздың басты магистралды көшесінің бірі болып табылады.

Аталған көше бойынша орташа жөндеу жұмыстары 2020-2021 жылдар аралығына жоспарланған. Шымкент қаласының оңтүстік қақпасы саналатын бұл даңғылдың құрылыс жұмыстары «Корпорация Береке-А» ЖШС-гіне жүктелген және техникалық қадағалаушы «Арман Строй Холдинг» ЖШС-гі.

Республика даңғылының жалпы ұзындығы төрт жолақты 5,3 шақырымды құраса, ал жолдың ені 28 метрді құрайды. Бүгінде көшенің бөлу жолағының бір шетіне су қашырғыш құбырлар, ал екінші жағына лоток орнатылып жатыр. Сонымен бірге, ені 2,25м жаяу жүргіншілер жолы салынған.

Сондай-ақ, құбыр үстінен Б.Момышұлы көшесінен жер асты өткеліне («Колос» аялдамасына) дейін веложол қарастырылған, асфальт құбыр арқылы лотокқа баратындай етіп төселген.
